One of the upcoming Deer Valley Music Festival performances, The Music of Queen, was so popular it sold out. Lucky for those of us who didn’t snag tickets to one of the last acts to perform up in Deer Valley this summer season, The Music of Queen will be coming to the stage at Abravanal Hall in Salt Lake City on Wednesday, August 2nd!

Bridging the gulf between rock ’n’ roll and classical music, Brent Havens leads the symphony in Queen’s unforgettable songs, like “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Killer Queen,” “Somebody to Love,” and many others. Scored to extend the listening experience of Queen’s music—and amplified with a full rock band and vocals—this show captures the band’s distinct sound and high energy with some of the best (and sometimes forgotten) tunes recorded over the years.

I am really excited to get to see this performance and hope you will get your tickets while you still can, too. Tickets are available online and reviews everywhere are telling us that we are in for an absolute treat!

We love all the diverse performances available with the Utah Symphony. If you haven’t yet, be sure to check out their upcoming 2023-2024 season.
