It’s officially fall now and we are on the hunt for great family-friendly destinations for you to go explore and enjoy with your own family as the days are getting a little cooler, the leaves are starting to turn, and we are all getting ready for Halloween.
This year, I was introduced to Wilkerson Farm in Orem, Utah. This is an absolutely fantastic destination, any day of the week (except Sunday because they are closed.) From 4 pm -9pm Monday through Thursday and 10am-9pm Friday and Saturday, this festive farm boasts all things Autumn. Take a quick drive there and arrive to find ample parking and a literal wonderland of activities for every member of the family. You will find a pumpkin patch with absolutely beautiful pumpkins to take home, Grandpa’s tractor hayride, an amazing corn maze, a little barnyard of animals, and unlimited rides for every age. There is really something for everyone to do, regardless of how adventurous you are. It was so much fun to have so many rides to choose from. It reminded my very much of going to the Jersey Shore in the summer and riding all the boardwalk rides, which I do really miss, so there was a bit of nostalgia for me here. Only the ocean views were traded for some spectacular mountains. Not too shabby!

Ask anyone who has been to Wilkerson Farm before and they will tell you it is one of their favorite fall activities. After spending a day here, I totally see why and will be adding it to my yearly September/October outings in the future. It’s such a great farm! I love the idea of going for a daytime activity for high school dances, fun date nights for couples, or just a wonderful tradition for families.

I was really impressed with the amount of activities and things to do at Wilkerson Farm, especially for the cost. Everything was included and unlimited for the day. If you go on a weekday, you can enjoy a less expensive admission. If you have WIC or food stamps, just present your EBT card at admission for 50% off. Military discounts are also available. Children under the age of 4 are always free. If you anticipate going several times, a season pass is also a great option to enjoy the farm as much as you would like during the season.

Be sure to visit their website and pick up your own tickets to come and visit the farm for yourselves. Be sure to check their calendar as there are some extra days open at the farm for Fall Break and even Halloween hours! We can’t wait to go back and enjoy the farm again. We know you will love it there, too!
