Last night we were invited to check out Evermore Park in Pleasant Grove, UT. Unfamiliar with the park until last night, I was excited to see what this attraction nestled in between Salt Lake City and Provo was all about. Open for Fridays and Saturdays for special events throughout the year, this is a park unlike any I have been to before.

It’s called an experience park. A place where one can go play and explore, a fantasy land. In September and October, it is a Halloween village called LORE. Walking into the entrance of the park, it is set up like a medieval village. A small town bedecked with old structures and fortresses and lined with spooky skeletons and eerily lit pumpkins. It’s very cool. Throughout the town, you will hear old English language and see people dressed as if they were living in a time long ago. But, it’s not just the employees dressed like that, it’s the visitors. Evermore encourages their patrons to dress the part and make it an interactive experience. Walking around, it’s almost as if this is where a Renaissance Faire and Comic Con come together, creating the ultimate adventure play land. Your experience here is completely up to you, actually, and how you want it to be. Do you want to be a spectator? No problem, show up in regular street clothes, walk around and do some fun activities. Want to elevate your experience? Dress up, join a guild, do a quest and win rewards!

You can purchase general admission tickets to get into the park and enjoy things as you go. I recommend getting a combo ticket for LORE. This allows you entrance into the park, bird & reptile show, Haunted Circus Show, archery and knife throwing, interact with magical characters and quests, Lore Haunted Adventure, Haunted Evermore Express Train, an entree, drink, side and dessert. If you purchase general admission, you get some of those things, but you are definitely maximizing your experience to do the combo. If you do opt for the combo pass, which we did, you are given a punch card and you can go around exploring things easily. It kind of feels like an adventure in and of itself acquiring all the things on your pass.

When we arrived, the park was dark and illuminated by colorful spooky lights and lots of flickering pumpkins. The ambiance was wonderful. As you walk around the grounds, you can interact with characters, visit shops and buildings with unique activities inside each one. We worked our way through the fun activities and were thoroughly enjoying ourselves.

We then came to the much anticipated Lore Haunted Adventure. I am all about scary haunted houses, but I know not everyone loves really scary. This was the perfect haunted attraction for those that like some jump scares but more on the tame side. No one will be touching you, it’s just a fun spook alley set in a really great atmosphere. The decor was very intricate, very detailed and very spooky. It was really fun to go through this haunted adventure. I think it is a great one to enter if you are on the leery side of if haunted houses are for you. A great introduction to the darker side of Halloween.

Evermore does a great job of creating a mystical and enchanting Halloween village that the entire family can enjoy. It was very family-friendly with so many fun activities to join in on. You could easily spend your time there enjoying all the shops, food, and experiences set up in the village, but also, you can maximize it by going on quests–something I did not anticipate doing, but our group ending up loving. I didn’t intend on staying as late as we did, we closed the park out enjoying these adventures!

I would definitely recommend bringing friends and family to Evermore to enjoy the fall festivities and get yourself in a Halloween mood. But, their offerings are not limited to just Halloween. Be sure to check out their calendar for other unique seasonal events.

You can learn more about Evermore and book your own adventures by visiting them online. We had a wonderful visit and know you will, too!
