I’m sure you’ve heard about The Friends Experience that is in select cities throughout the world right now. New York, Miami, Dublin, Melbourne and Amsterdam….and Salt Lake City are the lucky hosts of this fun pop up where super fans of the hit TV show can go and explore all things Friends related. Could we have been anymore excited to check it out when it was in our neck of the woods? I think not!

If you are in the Salt Lake City area and love the show, you should run, not walk, to the Gateway where this cool interactive experience is located just through the end of January (January 28, 2024 is the last day).

So what can you do there? This totally immersive experience lets you hang out in recreated sets just like the show. Check out Monica’s living room, Joey and Chandler’s apartment, Central Perk and so much more.
There are photo ops galore for you and your own friends to pose in and make your own memories. Enjoy props, costumes, and interesting tidbits about the show, the actors, and its very popular run.

There are plenty of opportunities here for you to take your own photos, but you can also get professional photos from the venue to take home. We loved how interactive the experience was. We got the chance to imagine ourselves in that world and even sing Phoebe’s original song “Smelly Cat”.

It’s so fun to see such iconic sets and get the opportunity to be there yourself. Who wouldn’t love the opportunity to sit on the infamous orange couch from Central Perk? We loved getting to learn about all the fun facts from the show, including Rachel’s hair timeline. Try your hand at the trivia when you are there!

After you have spent as much time as you want in the alternate happy universe of Friends, you, of course, can check out the great merchandise available at the gift shop or online.
If you love Friends, you will love the opportunity to check out The Friends Experience: The One in Salt Lake City while you can. We can’t wait to hear what you think of it!
