Each year, our family eagerly anticipates the 4th of July, and for the past few years, we’ve made Splash Summit a core part of our celebrations. This year, we decided to enhance our experience by renting an island cabana, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice.

The park offers an incredible variety of rides and attractions that cater to all ages. My boys, always seeking adventure, couldn’t get enough of the Cyclone and Shotgun Falls. These rides are adrenaline-pumping and perfect for thrill-seekers. For those looking for a gentler experience, the Lazy River provides a serene float, which is a great way to relax and enjoy the beautiful summer day. I, myself, love hanging out at Rocky Mountain Beach.

Renting the island cabana was a game-changer for us. The cabana offered a private, shaded retreat where we could rest, store our belongings, and enjoy our snacks without worrying about losing our spot. Equipped with comfortable seating ( I love the Adirondack chairs!), a cooler stocked with cold drinks and a gracious waitress to bring us anything we could ask for, the cabana became our base for the day. This convenience made our visit much more enjoyable, especially with younger children who needed frequent breaks from the sun and water.

As the day progressed, we enjoyed swimming, sliding, and splashing around. The sense of freedom and joy that Splash Summit offers is unmatched. The park is clean, well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful, which adds to the overall positive experience. Watching my kids laugh and play without a care in the world is a sight that warms my heart every time.

Incorporating Splash Summit and the island cabana into our 4th of July celebration has become a cherished tradition. It’s not just about the thrilling rides or the relaxing cabana; it’s about the quality time spent together, making memories that we will treasure for years to come. The mix of excitement and relaxation makes it a perfect family outing.
