We had the most enchanting night in Denver at the Vienna Light Orchestra’s The Greatest Showman tribute concert. Held at the iconic Buell Theatre, this was more than just a performance—it was an immersive, candlelit spectacle that transported us into the heart of musical magic.

The first thing that hit me as we entered was the atmosphere. Thousands of flickering candles surrounded the stage, setting a dreamy, intimate tone. It felt like stepping into a different world, where music and light worked in perfect harmony to elevate the senses. From the opening notes of the show, we knew we were in for something extraordinary.

The music, as you might expect, was sensational. The orchestra, made up of world-class musicians from seven different countries, brought the soundtrack of The Greatest Showman to life in a way that felt fresh yet familiar. We were treated to breathtaking renditions of “Never Enough,” “This Is Me,” and “Rewrite the Stars”—songs that had the entire audience clapping, swaying, and even tearing up. The performers’ skill was undeniable, each musician and vocalist adding their own unique touch to the beloved score. They didn’t just play; they poured their hearts into every note. While the focus was The Greatest Showman, we were also treated to other musical pieces from famous shows. I particularly loves the selections from The Phantom of the Opera.

But what truly took this experience to the next level was the visual spectacle. The lighting effects, paired with the rich soundscapes, created an almost ethereal feel. Each song was matched with lighting that enhanced the mood, whether it was the hopeful rise of “A Million Dreams” or the heartache of “Tightrope.” The costumes were simple yet elegant, perfectly complementing the candlelit setting while letting the music and emotions take center stage.

The Vienna Light Orchestra is known for its global tours, and it’s easy to see why their performances have captivated audiences across so many countries. They manage to blend classical orchestral elegance with modern favorites, making their shows accessible and mesmerizing to a wide range of audiences. Their Greatest Showman tribute is just one of many performances, but its blend of drama, inspiration, and sheer joy makes it a standout.

If you’re looking for an evening that uplifts the spirit and reminds you of the magic of music, I can’t recommend this enough. This is an experience not to be missed. And if you’re ever lucky enough to catch them as they tour the world, make sure to grab your tickets fast—it truly is the greatest show you’ve been waiting for.
