As a family, we have attended Disney on Ice multiple times, and it never fails to amaze us. This year’s show, Disney on Ice: Magic in the Stars, was no exception—delivering an unforgettable experience filled with dazzling performances, breathtaking choreography, and beloved Disney characters brought to life on the ice. The show opened with the ever-charming Jiminy Cricket, who set the tone for the magical journey ahead. His whimsical presence, paired with a heartfelt message about wishing upon a star, created a sense of wonder that carried throughout the night. Mickey and Minnie soon joined in to welcome the audience, making sure everyone was ready for an evening filled with Disney magic.

The main stars of the show included Tiana, Aladdin, and an array of five Disney princesses, each bringing their own unique story to life through elegant and powerful skating performances. Tiana’s performance was especially stunning, capturing the spirit of The Princess and the Frog with smooth choreography and jazzy, New Orleans-inspired energy. Aladdin’s routine brought adventure to the ice, complete with daring jumps and an appearance from the Genie that had the crowd cheering. The five princesses, including Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Rapunzel, and Moana, showcased their signature moments with breathtaking skating sequences, immersing the audience in each of their beloved tales. And to the delight of Cars fans, Lightning McQueen made a thrilling appearance, rolling onto the ice in a way that made it feel like he had driven straight out of Radiator Springs.

One of the most jaw-dropping moments was the Moana segment, featuring incredible fire dancers who added an exhilarating touch to the performance. Watching Moana skate with such grace while flames flickered around the ice created a mesmerizing visual that captivated both kids and adults alike. The show also featured gravity-defying acrobatics that had our family gasping in awe, especially as performers soared above the rink with seemingly effortless precision. Toy Story’s Buzz and Woody brought their signature humor and charm to the ice, keeping the energy lighthearted and fun with their playfulness.

The grand finale was a vibrant and joyous celebration featuring Encanto, where Mirabel, Isabela, and the rest of the Madrigal family dazzled in colorful costumes, skating to the movie’s beloved songs. The audience enthusiastically sang along, making it a truly immersive experience. With its seamless storytelling, breathtaking special effects, and world-class skating performances, Disney on Ice: Magic in the Stars once again proved why it’s a must-see event for families. No matter how many times we attend, it continues to be a magical tradition that brings joy, excitement, and cherished memories for our family.
