FuelFest is officially hitting Utah for the first time ever on August 16, 2025, and we are already counting down the days. And yes—it’s going to be just as legendary as it sounds.
As a car-obsessed family with a need for speed, this event feels like it was custom-built for people like us. What is FuelFest?
FuelFest is not your average car show. It’s a full-blown celebration of car culture, entertainment, and creativity, founded by Cody Walker—yes, that Cody Walker, the younger brother of the late Paul Walker from the Fast & Furious franchise.
Part of the magic? This event fuses the passion for cars with the spirit of giving back. A portion of the proceeds goes to Reach Out WorldWide, the nonprofit Paul started to help those impacted by natural disasters. What to Expect at FuelFest SLC
I don’t use the word “epic” lightly—but this? Yeah, this is epic.
Here’s what’s going down on August 16:
- Car Showcase: From JDM legends to American muscle to full-blown hypercars and exotics, FuelFest is bringing out the big guns. Over 600+ custom cars will be on display. Your dream car? It’s probably here.
- Drifting Demos & Ride-Alongs: This isn’t a sit-back-and-stare event. The FuelFest drift course puts you up close and personal with pro drivers who know how to send it. The smell of burning rubber? Instant serotonin.
- Live Music & Concert Vibes: There’s a full concert stage built into the event with artists hitting the stage throughout the day. So yes, you’ll be dancing between drift runs.
- Celebrity Appearances: Cody Walker will be there, and you never know who else might roll through—especially with Fast & Furious ties. If you know, you know. 👀
- Vendors, Food, and Merch: From car parts to custom tees to some seriously good eats, this place will be stacked with vendors and booths you’ll want to hit up between events.
