Hammacher Schlemmer boasts some very fun gadgets and toys and one of my very favorite ones this year is their High Definition Camera Drone.  This could be a gift for your favorite guy or responsible kid/teen.  I think universally, remote controlled devices are hugely popular among boys both old and young.  This one happens to take seriously great pictures and video of the flight so you can picture what it would be like to fly high above the rest of us, up to 300 feet, in fact!  This is sure to be a sky-high favorite!

 

 

 

 

Jurassic Park has made it’s way back into pop culture with the release of the new movie Jurassic World, which means that a whole new generation of fans has been created.  Show your child’s love of the incredibly exciting world by creating a customized Jurassic Park logo with their name on it to display in their room.  Etsy shop Colton’s Place creates this logos in varying sizes and does a truly impressive job doing so!  This is a great and affordable way to decorate your child’s bedroom!

 

For American Girl doll fans, there is never a shortage of amazing gifts to receive.  The doll of the year, new release Mary Ellen Larkin,  or any of the classic dolls are terrific choices!  For those that want something a little more unique, why not select a  Truly Me doll? Long boarding has made a major resurgence in new generations and there is no doubt that skateboards and accessories are a great choice this year.  I am absolutely loving the Sunset Skateboard Co. polycarbonate boards with LED wheels.  You can’t go wrong with any of their boards.  You can pick different colored LED wheels, body types like polycarbonate, wood, or graphic grip boards, as well as 22 inch and 27 inch decks.  I know there will be some serious happy campers skating on these boards once these gifts are unwrapped this holiday season!

 

 

Imaginative play is the best and giving your kids an opportunity to use their imagination while indoors that doesn’t involve a screen is something we all want.  I love this adorable tee pee from Discovery Kids.  Affordable, roomy (it stands 5 feet tall) and made of durable canvas, this is a great gift that will stand up to lots of play time.  When the weather improves, you can even take it outdoors to expand play.  Your kids will have an awesome time with this family favorite!

For kids that love to play video games, Ubisoft always has fun games that make great gifts for kids and adults alike.  Some of my favorite games are from Ubisoft, actually, for the whole family.  Just Dance games are absolutely so much fun to get your bodies moving and new selections for this year are the perfect gift for winter time fun.  Just Dance Disney Party 2 and Just Dance 2016 are loaded with fun beats that will have you dancing up a sweat, laughing with the kids (or just have the kids laughing at you!) and spending a really fun time together avoiding the cold air outside. I highly recommend these games!  New this year with the Just Dance 2016 is a great feature that allows you to play easily without having to buy extra controllers.  All you have to have is a smartphone and be able to download an app and you can dance to your heart’s content!
