Brace yourself, Salt Lake City! Next month, you are going to have the opportunity to do something a little out of the ordinary. While we may think of October as the best time to go to our favorite haunted houses, Fear Factory would like to remind you that you are Halfway to Halloween!It seems absolutely terrifying that we are halfway there, but any excuse I have to go and frolic through the concrete and iron labyrinth of the remains of a factory, you’d better believe I am super excited to do so!

Fear Factory, Salt Lake City’s only truly haunted attraction’s annual Halfway to Halloween event is Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18, 2024. Halfway to Halloween happens the third weekend in May and is designed to give Halloween fans of all ages and interests a sneak peek of what to expect during the upcoming Halloween season.

The Fear Factory, Salt Lake City’s only truly haunted attraction was named the #9 truly terrifying haunted attraction on BuzzFeed’s 2022 list of the 20 most terrifying haunts. The Haunted Attraction Association (HAA), the only official association in the haunt industry, also named Fear Factory one of the top haunts of 2023. This is the second time in the last three years Fear Factory has been named to the list of the HAA’s top haunts.

In naming Fear Factory to its list of the top haunted attractions, BuzzFeed editors wrote:

This is the second time Fear Factory has been recognized by BuzzFeed. In 2016, Fear Factory was named one of BuzzFeed’s scariest haunted house attractions in the world by its community.
