This summer has been a great one. With the end quickly approaching and limited time in the day due to sport schedules, we decided to take advantage of the fall-like weather and go exploring.

We came upon a place called Ringing Rocks Park.  This natural wonder is a cool place to visit with the family, both old and young alike, as long as they have semi-steady feet.  I’ve never seen a place like this in my life.  A nice trail lined with beautiful trees and plants and then all of a sudden, you come upon a field of rocks.  It goes on as far as you can see.  I have no idea how it came to be, but it’s really neat to see.  What’s so special about this place?  Take a hammer with you or find some small rocks and hit the rocks and you will hear something peculiar–something that sounds like ringing.  Different tones and pitches, this is a musical place!
