Give the Gift of Summer Fun

Summer is long gone, the holidays are here, and while some are dreaming of a white Christmas, I can’t help but think about warm sunny days spent with the family in the gorgeous warm sunshine, sitting by a glistening pool. I’ve got a few more months before that daydream becomes reality, however, it’s not too early to plan ahead.

We absolutely love Splash Summit for family fun in the sun and can’t wait to visit again. We love having season passes to be able to enjoy their facilities whenever the mood hits us. With super reasonable prices for season passes, it’s honestly a no-brainer to pick them up for every member of the family. A very low price enables endless summer fun and activity.

Now is a great time to buy season passes of your own and gift them to your family. Toys and things are great to give, but, giving experiences and creating family memories are priceless. And just think how happy you will be to already have an answer in December to the age old question “What are we going to do today?” to beat summer boredom in June.

Read on to see what our experience at Splash Summit was and to purchase your own season passes.

This summer has been a scorcher! No end in sight, either! That’s OK, though, because we’ve got a great destination for the whole family to go to, to keep you cool and refreshed! When in Utah, head down to Provo. This college down has a new water park, Splash Summit, that we were invited to check out over the weekend and all we have to say is we are huge fans!

Splash Summit boasts three swimming pools and twelve slides and attractions. This means there is a ton to do to keep you entertained! Nestled beneath the mountains, under the infamous “Y”, this family-friendly water park enjoys some spectacular views. It is easy to get to, parking is plentiful, and entry to the facilities are seemless, especially if you have a cabana rented. You can basically skip the line, which is always a glorious thing!

We arrived at the park and were able to jump ahead of a line because we had an Island Cabana rented for the day. This is an amazing luxury to have a dedicated space to call your own while traversing the park. Our cabana consisted of lounge chairs and additional seating (enough for 10 people), a cooler stocked with just about every kind of soda and water you could imagine, a fruit platter, chips and salsa, and an incredibly attentive wait staff. Imagine having a home base at your favorite water park, stocked with everything you needed to keep you cool and give you respite from the shining sun, when needed. Such was our Island Cabana. Nestled in a dedicated section of the park that had a few more cabanas like ours, it was very easy to get to rides and pools, while having a central meeting place for our family. The advantage of having a dedicated server for our cabana was phenomenal–we never had to wait in line for food. We simply placed our order and it was delivered to our cabana when we were ready for lunch. I can’t say enough about having a cooler full of drinks and refreshing fruit to keep you hydrated throughout the day. We also very much enjoyed the chips and salsa, a great snack option throughout the day.

When we weren’t enjoying the privacy and shade of our cabana, you’d better believe we were out in the park, enjoying all the great rides and attractions Splash Summit has to offer. There is so much to do! Whether you have little ones that want to splash in their own designated areas, love to be carried down the lazy river, want to ride the waves in the wave pool, or go on some major thrilling slides, there is something for everyone here!

We went on a very busy holiday weekend, but honestly, it didn’t matter, it never felt like the park was overcrowded. There was always tons of space to swim and lounge around. Lines did not take too long and we were able to get in all of the rides multiple times. Before we knew it, the end of the day was quickly approaching and we had packed it full of great adventures. It was a super enjoyable way to spend a summer day.

But, we realized, there was no reason to limit it at only one day. With admission prices being $21.99 for adults, it only makes sense to go for a season pass for $49.99. This allows you unlimited admission all season long, free tubes, and free parking! This is the easiest way to maximize going to Splash Summit.

In addition to all the great fun you can have all day at the park, sometimes Splash Summit hosts some fun events and movie nights, like the one coming up this weekend.

We can’t wait to visit over and over again! With this intense summer heat we are continuing to see, we know we will be visiting a lot! We highly recommend taking time out of your summer to make a visit to this hot destination that will keep you so cool and entertained!
