We told you about a unique experience we had at Sugar Space in Salt Lake City a few months back listening to the music of Taylor Swift all by candlelight. It was so cool! I’m excited to share with you that they next candlelight concert series at Sugar Space features the music of Queen was tonight and we got to check it out.

When you purchase tickets for a Candlelight concert at Sugar Space, you purchase seats in a zone. Rather than specific reserved seats, you select a zone within the very intimate space and depending on your arrival time, you can select a seat within that section that you would like. So the earlier you arrive to the venue, the better your seat will be. However, it would be hard to pick a seat within the venue that wasn’t good.

There is a very unique feel to Sugar Space–very artsy and eclectic. It is an old warehouse where special events are held. It is honestly a great venue for an activity such as this.

I love the music of Queen, so I was particularly excited to check this concert out. Now, this isn’t a rock concert, but it is a very unique production of the music performed by Range Ensemble, a string quartet. The overhead lights dim, the candlelight flickers and the room is filled with beautiful illumination and sound, unlike any other experience you are likely to have had at a concert before.

 Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations like never seen before in Salt Lake City performed by a live string quartet. Get your tickets now to discover the music of Queen at Sugar Space under the gentle glow of candlelight.

The shows last about 65 minutes and they are extremely enjoyable. I like that they are relaxing and a great change of pace from the ordinary. The musicians are very talented and I find myself wanting to see them again and again. I can’t decide what I’d like to see them perform the most next. Perhaps Ed Sheeran or Adele? We will find out soon because both of those are upcoming shows! But for those that want to enjoy the awesome music of Queen, you still have your chance, the next performance is August 4th.
