When I first came to New Jersey, this is one of the first places that I saw. This is an abandoned church built in the 1800s that burned down. I love this building, the way it looks, and the fact that it is left in this state with trees and vines growing through the inside.
Wow, it’s so sad and so beautiful at the same time. I have always thought about how our modern buildings would look after time and I just don’t think they will have the same effect as buildings built 100 or more years ago.
Great photos! I agree with Holly: Sad and beautiful at the same time. Thank you for sharing!!!
I like old churches.. they seem to tell a story!
I love these photos. Makes you wonder about the people who called that church ‘home’ while it was still vibrant.
Love the photos
Love photos of old buildings. Also, I think the name of your blog is super neat! Kind of jealous I didn’t think of it first.
Thanks so much, Tiffany!
I never knew they had that in Jersey. I would love to see it.

That church looks gorgeous. I would love to see it in person and take pictures.
What a beautiful building captured by your beautiful photos! I especially love the second to last one with the new spring leaves on the tree against the old building.
