Still Standing

When I first came to New Jersey, this is one of the first places that I saw.  This is an abandoned church built in the 1800s that burned down.  I love this building, the way it looks, and the fact that it is left in this state with trees and vines growing through the inside.

  1. Wow, it’s so sad and so beautiful at the same time. I have always thought about how our modern buildings would look after time and I just don’t think they will have the same effect as buildings built 100 or more years ago.

  2. What a lovely building and the photography is great! Especially like your image stamp. #Bloggers’CommunityonFB

  3. What a beautiful building captured by your beautiful photos! I especially love the second to last one with the new spring leaves on the tree against the old building.
