While visiting Wonder Works, we were invited to come and experience The Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show. Dinner and entertainment together sounded like a great plan, so we were excited to see what it was all about.
If you are wanting to go see this show, make sure to get reservations, as it can sell out quickly and you don’t want to miss out on this fun!
We arrived to the waiting area for the show about 15 minutes before the show began to make sure that we got a good seat. When the doors opened we were escorted to our seats for dinner. I noticed every seat in the place was great placement to see the stage, so there really were no bad seats.
We were served salad and drinks right away and then as much pizza as you wanted. This is a bottomless, all you can eat meal, which is really nice when you are taking a bunch of kids with you! The food was actually quite good and we enjoyed our meal very much before the dinner show began.
The magician, Tony Brent, took the stage and we quickly found out that this show was going to be quite interactive and funny. Intricate tricks and hysterical antics took place and we were all having a great time. This was a very family friendly show, but there were lots of references that the adults would get that were so amusing. At one point, I was actually called up on stage to take part of a very elaborate trick with three other audience members. I had to do a bit of acting and as we watched the trick unfold, we were all amazed, as we have no idea how the magic occurred. Quite impressive, indeed!
So many tricks and so many audience members participating in them kept the audience on their toes and participating, which is always great.
Tony Brent has an awesome stage presence and did a great job of keeping the audience enthralled and engaged. All of his tricks were things I had never seen done before and left us wondering just how he was able to pull them off. The show was quick paced and incredibly fun 90 minute experience.
If you have time while in Orlando, stopping to take part of Wonder Works and especially the Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner show is a must! Every member of our family throughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend it to you!
