Father’s Day is around the corner and here are some of our favorite gift ideas* for dad! We were able to personally try out and test all of these products and loved them so much, we had to share the great ideas!

Let’s start off the day by presenting dad with some treats that are as sweet and lovable as he is!  Symply Pure and Decadent Bakery has an amazing assortment of treats and baked goods for every occasion.  We were thrilled to try out a variety of Kim’s delicious creations and were so impressed by how decadent they truly were!  You can select cookies, brownies, apricot bars (my husband’s favorite!), cakes, pies and so much more! Love cheesecake?  You will be in heaven–there are many varieties.  I couldn’t get over how rich the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip  Ganache Cheesecake was–wow, it was so good! There are tons of vegan and gluten free options that, like me, you will be shocked at how delicious they can be. So find which treats will best suit your favorite dad’s taste buds and place and order–they can be shipped anywhere! But, take it from me, don’t just order one thing, treat yourself by ordering several different baked goods.  If you order just one thing, you might be disappointed at how quickly it disappears and wish you had gotten a few more treats to try out! Our treats were gone so quickly, we might be finding reasons to celebrate more often so we have a great excuse to order something new from Kim!

 

My husband lives at our grill during the summer and it is so helpful to have the best tools to use to get the job done.  We have a ceramic cooker, so this BBQ Dragon is absolutely awesome  for breathing life into the flames of the fire on the grill.  Another great thing we use this for is to fan the flames in our outdoor fire pit.  It truly is an incredible must-have tool!

My husband  loves a well crafted knife. He is very picky about them, actually.  I was thrilled with this Crimson 6 inch Santoku knife from Ergo Chef.  Well made and very nice looking, this knife makes food prep a breeze! What was surprising about this knife is that it performs like a very, very expensive knife at a very affordable price point. As an added bonus it is ergonomic, making it very comfortable to use.  Food does not stick to the knife and cleaning it is so easy.  Definitely a great addition to any chef’s kitchen! 

 

 

 

 

We are absolutely loving the Lighted Poolside Basketball Hoop available from Hammacher Schlemmer!  This heavy duty hoop is easy to assemble, stays in place (just fill it with water) and it provides hours and hours of fun and entertainment for the whole family to play together.  Want to keep playing into the night time hours?  Not a problem because this basketball hoop comes with an LED display light making it easy to continue playing in the dark. I love how sturdy it is and that it will withstand lots of playing time from a big family with many friends!

Summer time in our household includes a lot of father son camp outs.  So great gifts for the dad in our family is to equip him with some high quality, high functioning camping supplies.  Coleman has us covered with their wide array of products suited for just these occasions.  We can’t rave enough about their new Elite Montana Tent that sleeps 8.  Very roomy, easy to transport and set up, this tent actually has LED lights inside.  Simply turn on the switch when you want the lights on, turn it off when it’s time to go to bed, unless of course, you want to use the nightlight setting!  Such a cool feature! So many features that we love, we know that we will have tons of future family campouts in this awesome tent!

Can’t forget to mention Coleman’s incredible FyreCadet camping stove for those outdoor getaways, either!  This stove is portable, lightweight and can cook a mean meal for our family.  I love the roomy space–I can use a 10 inch and 12 inch pan at the same time, as well as switch out plates for griddle or burner, depending on my needs.  It’s very versatile, and it has a quick boil time, cutting down cooking time for meals.  Definitely a great propane stove for those who love spending time in the outdoors!

 

 

We spend a lot of time outdoors playing together as a family.  We love Flashflight, an awesome twist on the frisbee, this flying disc is well made, soars through the air, and lights up in a rainbow of LED lights.  It’s so much fun to play, especially at night when you can follow the trails of light through the night sky.  Take it camping,  to the beach, on a hike, or just play in your own backyard.  It’s a great gift to help build wonderful memories of summer nights playing with the family.  In addition to the regular sized Flashflight, you can also find mini versions, light up balls, dog discuits for our four legged friends, and so much more! Woodsy and citrus blend make it a great choice for warm weather.  I love their products, but didn’t know that men were lucky enough to have some great choices, as well!

 

 One of my favorite gifts this year by far is a full set of the Ocean Kelp shaving kit from The Art of Shaving.  Women love to pamper themselves and men really aren’t any different.  Who doesn’t want to feel wonderful?  While you wouldn’t typically think that giving a shaving kit would make your man feel terrific, there is an exception to every rule and this is it! The kit enables an entire shaving routine to take place.  Treat the skin with a pre-shave oil to soften the skin and hair.  Follow that with a rich shaving cream.  A little bit goes a long way and creates a luxurious lather to put on the face with the badger brush.  My husband likes to shave with his straight edge razor for a super close shave.  Rinse off the remaining lather and coat the skin with the after-shave balm.  What you are left with is a great shave and super soft skin.  I love the ocean kelp scent for summer, especially! It smells so good and is one of four different  scents available. Turns an ordinary task into one to look forward to!

 

Everyone loves a great smelling home, no doubt about it.  While you might not think of giving a man a candle, Yankee Candle has made it so that it is now a rather appealing option! Give him one of Yankee Candle’s collegiate collection boasting masculine aromas that he will love.  I am a huge fan of the William &Mary  (balsam and cedar) and Notre Dame (Lucky Shamrock) scents. I love that you can show your support of his favorite college team while sneakily getting something you will love, too!  You can find a wide variety of schools online at Yankee Candle.

I am absolutely loving this new brand of clothing–Ecōths–and love their comfortable and stylish choices for men.  The Garrick Polo is a very flattering cut of a shirt that is perfect for summertime.  The material is so soft and sits so nicely when in wear. I like the accent stitching on the shirt with a complimentary color for an extra flair. They are a great choice for traveling and fun times with the family. They wash up so well, too! Picking up a shirt (or three) will be an awesome surprise for dad this Father’s Day!
