Jurassic World star Nick Robinson was on hand to “open the gates” and meet fans in celebration of the upcoming release of the film on Blu-ray and DVD at New York Comic Con on Saturday, October 10, 2015. I had the pleasure of walking through the gates of Jurassic World while at New York Comic Con 2015 this weekend and it was awesome!

Attendees have the the opportunity to walk through the majestic archway and doors at the main entrance this weekend. Some may even encounter a life-size Velociraptor who recently escaped from Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure theme park. Tread lightly, though, as this pack hunter measures over nine-feet high and can run up to 60 mph!

I’ve always been a fan of Jurassic Park and when the new Jurassic World was released earlier this year, my family and I couldn’t wait to see it.  We were not disappointed!

The Jurassic World theme park lets guests experience the thrill of witnessing actual dinosaurs, but something ferocious lurks behind the park’s attractions – a genetically modified dinosaur with savage capabilities.  When the massive creature escapes, chaos erupts across the island.  Now it’s up to Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) to save the park’s tourists from an all-out prehistoric assault.

 

We can’t wait to own this movie for our own collection to watch again and again. Be sure to pick up your own copy when it comes out on Blu-ray on October 20th!
