Some of my favorite gifts are those we can use for our house. Anything to make our home more appealing, functional or comfortable is great for everyone. Here are some of our favorites this year.

Winter has arrived and with it a massive chill in the air. Brrrr! I don’t care for the cold, I love to be warm and toasty. I have an awesome gift idea for you that you will wish you had gotten a long time ago. Heated towel racks from Amba are the ultimate luxury. We love to spend time as a family unwinding by the fire. Indoors are great, but we also love to gather around outside (even in the colder months) and hang by our fire pit. I love to get the small stuff off the stairs and in hard to reach corners. I also love it for small spills and things that need a quick pick up. Great to have on hand, it is rechargeable, lightweight and has a small profile for easy storage. You will love having this is your home!

Black + Decker also has another very useful, versatile product that will get a ton of use in your home and beyond. I never thought I would need a wagon for anything, until I started using one. This Collapsible Wagon is incredible! Take it with you on a family outing (apple picking, farmer’s markets, the park), use it to unload your groceries, use it for yard work. Find all the other ways you want to use it, too. You can take it with you anywhere and everywhere. It packs ups easily, mobility is super smooth, and it can hold up to 176 pounds!

Over the last year and a half, we’ve all found ourselves with extra time on our hands to either tackle a home project or two or decide altogether a new space is needed for our families. Whether you want to update an area or want to redo a new residence, little things can make a huge difference. When we moved out of our home and into a new one, an area I knew I wanted to improve on was the stairs. Old and outdated styles can easily be upgraded and change the whole look. You can contact him to customize a railing to your specifications and he is absolutely wonderful to work with. You can create a more modern look indoors and out in a quick switch of a rail. It’s really unbelievable what a difference it can make!

I love giving personalized gifts, especially ones that can be enjoyed all the time. I recently discovered an amazing shop on Etsy, RealWoodSigns, that creates custom carved wood signs, perfect for your home, home office, and, well, in my case…my chicken coop. This is the greatest sign, made of exceptional quality, for my chickens, that names each of them. It’s fantastic and gets lots of compliments! But it doesn’t matter where it is for, you can know that it is made so well, beautiful to look at and will be cherished by the recipient for a long time to come.
