We love to go to the theater every chance we get, so we were excited to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang* during it’s run at the Hale Center Theatre.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was a charming, magical experience to watch. The set design and unique theater in the round provided a one of a kind comedic adventure. The use of fog and lighting created an illusion that was shocking and delightful. The costumes were very colorful and shiny and added a delightful flare to the quirkiness and eccentric plot of the show.

Kelly Coombs and Benjamin Henderson playing the Baroness and Baron of Vulgaria brought the house down. Their hilarious accents and vivacious characters were truly a sight to see. You won’t want to miss their Brazilian Samba and their bath tub scene complete with real bubbles! If you are a fan of the classic movie then you will enjoy this stage version!

Going to see this show is a great family-friendly activity, a fantastic way to introduce your children to the wonders and magic of live theater. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is currently running through January 8, 2022.
