Here is something I did not know I needed until I found out it existed: elite bull riding, the United States Space Force, Tim McGraw, and a drone show — all in one night, at Falcon Stadium at the Air Force Academy.
I am not being dramatic when I say this is unlike anything that has ever happened before.

What Is PBR Space Cowboys, Exactly?
PBR (Professional Bull Riders) has partnered with the U.S. Space Force for a landmark America 250 celebration — PBR Space Cowboys Presented by the U.S. Space Force — and it is happening on June 20, 2026 at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs.
Thirty of the world’s top bull riders will be divided into three teams, each representing a real Space Force Operational unit, going head-to-head against the rankest bucking bulls in high-intensity 8-second matchups. This is not a rodeo. This is elite sport at its most thrilling level.
And then there is the concert. Grammy Award-winning Tim McGraw and multi-platinum Chris Janson will perform live. In a football stadium. After bull riding. I need you to understand how much is packed into this single evening.
Why This Event Actually Matters
The U.S. Space Force is a real, active war-fighting branch of our military — standing alongside the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines — and most Americans don’t know nearly enough about what they do. Think GPS navigation. Your cell phone signal. Power grids. Global financial transactions. All of it protected and enabled by Space Force Guardians, operating beyond the atmosphere so life on the ground keeps running.
This event is designed to close that gap — to connect everyday Americans with the mission in a way that is accessible, exciting, and genuinely memorable.
What to Expect on June 20
Festivities kick off at 1 PM with a family-friendly activation zone in the stadium plaza — interactive exhibits, live entertainment, and Monster Energy’s motocross activation headlined by supercross legend Jeremy McGrath. Plan to get there early.
The main event includes military tributes, flyovers, a parachute landing directly into the arena, and a large-scale drone show lighting up the Colorado sky at the end of the night. Oh, and to get there? PBR is trucking in approximately four million pounds of specialized dirt to transform Falcon Stadium into a world-class bull riding venue. Four million pounds of dirt. The production alone is worth showing up for.
Tickets Start at $31
Yes, really. Tickets are available starting at $31 (inclusive of all fees), and they are on sale now at PBR.com/SpaceCowboys. The event will also be broadcast on FOX Nation on June 20.
This is the kind of night you will still be talking about next year. Get your tickets, load up the car, and head to Colorado Springs on June 20. We will see you there.
