A couple of years ago, I would have told you I was a “pick one perfume and stick with it” kind of girl. Then I fell down the rabbit hole, and I have not climbed back out.
I had no idea what kind of world was out there. Niche houses. Tiny-batch perfumers. Fragrances built around a tennis match in Turin or a game of chess. Who knew a bottle could tell a whole story? Somewhere along the way, fragrance went from something I wore to something I collect, explore, and genuinely look forward to. It’s officially a hobby, and I’m not even a little bit sorry.
The Catch (There’s Always a Catch)
Here’s the thing. I’ve discovered that I love the really niche stuff. And niche often means expensive. Like, “let me just stare at this price tag for a minute” expensive.
But I have never been a full-price kind of shopper. Not for shoes, not for groceries, and definitely not for perfume. So I needed a plan.
That plan is FragranceNet.com.
Let me be honest: I have yet to go looking for a fragrance they didn’t have. Whatever I’m curious about, whatever I’ve heard about, whatever someone mentioned in a video at midnight, it’s almost always there. And the pricing is much better than anywhere else I’ve found.
A few things I love:
- The selection is unreal. Designer favorites sit right next to the niche houses I’m obsessed with.
- Coupons and rewards. The coupon prices are where it gets really fun, and they have a rewards program on top of that.
- Vials and travel sprays. Many fragrances come in small sizes, so you can try before you commit to a big bottle. When you’re exploring pricey perfumes, that is a game changer.
- Free U.S. shipping on orders over $59. Easy.
- Customer service that actually helps. This matters more to me than the discounts. Their team has been responsive, friendly, and easy to work with, and that’s a big reason I keep going back. They’ve been around since 1997, and it shows.
Some of My Favorites to Explore
Here are just a few of the fragrances I’ve found there, for both men and women.

Xerjoff Torino 24 Eau de Parfum
Xerjoff is about as luxe as it gets, and this one is inspired by the indoor tennis courts of Turin. Think juicy mango and orange blossom settling into white musk and patchouli. It’s tropical but polished. Their pricing is a lot easier to say yes to.

Thomas Kosmala No.4 Neon Eau de Parfum
Bright, fruity, and a little bit fearless. It opens with yuzu, mandarin, and pomelo, then moves into galbanum, mango, and melon. Gorgeous and long lasting!

Mancera Coco Vanille Eau de Parfum
If you love a sweet, creamy, tropical vibe, start here. It opens with coconut and white peach, moves through ylang-ylang, jasmine, and tiare flower, and dries down to vanilla, woody notes, and white musk.
Mind Games Soulmate Collection
This one is for the curious. Mind Games is a chess-inspired house (Gambit! Queening! Ruy Lopez!) with fragrances that run on the pricey side, so I love that FragranceNet offers a discovery set of extrait de parfum spray vials. You can sniff your way through the whole collection before deciding which one deserves a full bottle. (I will be honest, though, they all do!)
Creed Aventus Perfumed Soap
Yes, a soap. Creed’s famous Aventus scent, pineapple and blackcurrant with a smoky birch dry-down, in a bar you can lather up with in the shower. It’s a fun little luxury (or a great gift for the guy who has everything).
If you’ve ever wanted to explore fragrance but felt scared off by the price tags, this is where I’d start. Between the huge selection, the coupons, the vials for sampling, and customer service that’s truly wonderful to deal with, FragranceNet.com has earned a permanent spot in my bookmarks.
So go ahead and treat yourself. Grab a vial, find your next favorite, and join me down the rabbit hole. Just don’t blame me when your collection starts to grow.
