Santa Fe Craftsman, Inc was established in 1991 by Robert and Dianna Criswell. Robert attended grade school on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Kayenta, Arizona and Dianna grew up in Colorado wearing Indian and Southwestern Jewelry. Santa Fe Craftsman, Inc. was formed as an avenue for people to experience the beauty and mystique of this ancient American art. They offer a wide variety of Southwestern Art from all of the cultures that combined to make the American Southwest Art so beautiful and unique.

I personally have a strong connection to the company, as the Criswell’s are two of my favorite people ever, being my godparents.  Since the founding of Santa Fe Craftsman, I have spent a significant amount of time working in their store when it was located in Georgia and personally meeting many of the Native American artisans  throughout the years. I know what goes on behind the scenes and have always been impressed with the connection and rapport they have with their patrons. Robert and Dianna take great pride in providing their clientele with unparalleled customer service. I can vouch for the high quality and beauty of each piece and have quite a gorgeous collection of their jewelry that I love to wear.

Santa Fe Craftsman carries all genres of Native American jewelry, but enjoys bringing the more contemporary to light.  Some of my very favorites include necklaces and bracelets with  stone and inlay work.  It is amazing to see the detail and talent on display through each individual piece. I really like the contrast of black onyx stones with the sterling silver, such as this necklace and earring set.  A stunning inlay of opal and black onyx makes quite the statement and makes you feel gorgeous wearing it.
