Kohl’s Cares New Spring Arrivals *Giveaway*

I have an obsession with children’s books.  I love them!  My kids have quite the collection of stories because I absolutely believe it is essential to read with and to your kids.  Creating a love of learning at an early age just does so much for your child.  Reading a story with your little ones is a great way to bond and connect one on one with your children.  It’s just a great thing all around.  My kids are too old now to sit for story time with mom, but I can assure you, we would sit for hours  in the afternoons when my kids were little reading and cuddling.

One of the things I always notice when shopping at Kohl’s is that they have a great collection of children’s books and plush characters to coincide with them  at extremely reasonable prices.  Even though my kids are older, the mom in me always wants to pick them up for a fun story time.

This month, Kohl’s Cares is featuring Beginner Books and their coordinating plush toys for only $5 each!  Perfect for toddler and preschool story times, you will want to pick up your own copies of these books and toys to enhance reading and play in your own home.  Teachers, too, will love them for their classrooms. I received a couple of the books and animals to check out from Kohl’s and they are awesome!  It makes me nostalgic for the times when I would cuddle with my monkeys for story time.

You can pick up your own Beginner Books, such as Put Me in the ZooGo. Dog, Go!, The Nose Book and Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb now through April 5th at your local Kohl’s.  Parents will not only be proud of their little one’s effort but to support the Kohl’s Cares merchandise program knowing Kohl’s donates 100 percent of the net profit to children’s health and education initiatives nationwide.

  1. I so enjoy your with our boys! One of our favorite books is Put Me in the Zoo. I likes your fb page as well.

  2. As a child, my very favorite book was “Go Dog, Go!” because my Grampa would read it to me. As a mom, my favorite is “I Love You, Stinkyface.” We got it at a baby shower and the two year old big brother had to have it read to him at least forty times before baby sister was born. We are on our third copy (and that one is reinforced with duct tape) now that the baby it was given for is three. We all have it memorized. 😀

  3. Our favorite books are the Beginner Readers books from these series! I love them! 🙂 onelove_22 (at) msn (dot) com

  4. My personal favorite children’s book is Horton Hears a Who. So many lessons in that, even for grown-ups! But my son loves Go, Dog. Go! We read it pretty much every day at least one or two times a day.
