I have a huge weakness for shoes and bags.  These two things I definitely splurge on and I am always glad I did.  Now that a new season has arrived, it’s time to put away my winter shoes and put a spring in my step with some new kicks.  I was sent some great new shoes to try out from Ahnu and when they arrived, I was in love!

I am all about fun, colorful summer shoes that are easy to slip on, but most importantly, comfortable to walk in.  As a mom of four kids, I am constantly on the go and on my feet, whether it be hiking, going to the pool, hanging at the playground, spending a day in the city, or cruising an amusement park.  I am on my feet all day long, so it is crucial that the shoes I wear be versatile and comfy.  As soon as I tried on these shoes, I knew that they possessed the qualities I look for in an active summer shoe.

Ahnu’s Karma Mesh is an adorable breathable shoe. It comes in four different fun colors, but I love the Anemone, a bright funky hot pink.  These feel almost like ballet flats with straps, but have great support on your feet. They also have a smooth micro suede lining for a soft feel on your soles.

These shoes are great for wearing to the pool or to the beach or shopping–so easy to slip on.  I really like the grip on the bottom of the shoes, too, as it makes it difficult to slip on surfaces.  These are wonderful shoes!  They are also made here in the USA!

If I knew I was going to be on my feet for a long period of time, like walking a city or going to an amusement park, my choice for the day would be Ahnu’s Crissy.  These could be my favorite summer shoes ever!

These, too, are extremely easy to slip on, so they are a great choice for the pool, too.  However, the cushioning on these babies are to die for.  There is a ton of support in these shoes. They remind me of the feel I would get in hiking shoes, only in a very stylish and sporty slip on flat.  Purple happens to be my favorite color, so I love the Astral Aura shade.  A great hue for summer! I know that I will be taking these on all my summer trips as they easily go from one activity to the next.  I love them!
