My kids and I missed the movie release of Muppets Most Wanted in the theaters. We loved the first one and really were looking forward to the sequel.

We were really excited, though, when we had the chance to see it before it was released on Blu-ray and DVD today. We were sent a copy to check it out and my kids were thrilled for the opportunity to do so. We decided to have a fun movie night with friends. A bbq, swimming, and an outdoor movie night to preview the new release, we had an awesome night!

Our favorite characters were back in action–Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, and Animal and we got to see our favorite dad from Modern Family, Ty Burrell, and 30 Rock’s funny lady, Tina Fey, so there were laughs for the entire family. The Muppet gang heads out on a new world tour, with the help of a not so nice manager and find themselves caught up in an international crime ring, headed up by Constantine, Kermit the Frog’s lookalike.  The crew is in for a serious adventure as the movie unfolds. Seeing the celebrity cameos throughout the film is also great.  Where else can you find Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, Sean Combs, Celine Dion, and Salma Hayek all in one place?

This was a super fun family movie that you should definitely check out for a great night in with the kiddos.
