Looking for someplace fun to go to celebrate the 4th of July? Consider going to Dorney Park in Pennsylvania! We were invited* to come this week and enjoy the fun they have to offer and we had an absolute blast!
Gorgeous weather and virtually no lines made this the place to be! My kids were able to ride every major roller coaster they wanted again and again. Let me tell you, Stinger, Possessed, Hydra, and Steel Force are all so much fun! Throw in amusement park favorites like the Musik Express, Tilt-a-Whirl, and a wide variety of other thrill rides and you have days worth of entertainment all to be enjoyed with your family.
I love the safe environment at Dorney Park. It is very clean and easy to navigate, and extremely family friendly. There is something for everyone to enjoy, including the youngest members of the family at the Peanuts area where everything is themed with Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the gang. You can even catch a live show with them all near the carousel a couple of times a day that will have little ones thoroughly entertained.
There are also tons of food options all throughout the park. We opted to go to Chickie’s & Pete’s which is a great sit down restaurant near Hydra. We were able to enjoy a relaxed, air conditioned dining experience and sit for a while in between rides. It was so nice to have that option!
And if that weren’t enough, there is an entire water park attached to Dorney opened in the summer. Beat the heat and have fun at the same time at Wildwater Kingdom. So you are getting two parks for the price of one when you go to Dorney Park. We love visiting Dorney Park so much that I would definitely consider a season pass. It’s a fantastic way to spend a day with the family!
