Ok, so normally I am pretty up to date on pop culture.  But, other times, I get slightly behind the times. Obviously, there was a movie that came out recently that got a lot of hype–Star Wars:The Force Awakens.  I wasn’t overly interested, to be honest, as Star Wars really wasn’t my thing growing up.  But, I finally gave in and we took the kids to see it at the movie theatre.  I figured I would probably fall asleep, but the kids would have fun anyway.  I was so wrong!  I was totally hooked right away and it was fun to have the original characters I was familiar with from my childhood back on the big screen.  But, I was pleasantly surprised at the new characters, too, and that, to me, was shocking.

I left the theatre thinking maybe I had overlooked something cool with the last few movie releases I just couldn’t bring myself to see.  But my kids left totally excited and energized (maybe I did, too) and a new interest has developed in them–Star Wars.

Shockingly, we came back home to a LootCrate delivery awaiting us.  I’ve never received a LootCrate box before, so I didn’t know what to expect, but this particular one was a special limited edition box–Star Wars: The Force Awakens!  The coincidence of that was pretty cool and my kids were thrilled to open it up and see what was inside.

Upon opening the box, we found tons of great items inside!  A winter hat and scarf set, a Kylo Ren mug, a metal earth 3D modeling kit, a Disney PopTaters Darth Vader Mr. Potato Head, a BB8 t-shirt, a Vader comic book, and a set of six Star Wars Golden books.  There was something for every interest.
