I’m a bit of a germ-a-phobe.  I really like to keep things clean.  But, it can be tough when I have so many sets of feet walking in and out of the door.  I have a busy household and I feel I do a pretty good job of keeping up with it and keeping things clean.

I frequently vacuum, as it’s kind of a necessity with four kids and a dog.  I have a really good vacuum and have always been happy with it.  That is until I tried a new product.  I was recently sent a Sirena, a new water based vacuum to check out.  I thought, cool, I’ll give it a try, but I really wasn’t expecting the results that I got.

The Sirena arrives in two boxes, one holds the canister and the other holds the many attachments that be used with it.  I was able to put the vacuum together in just a couple of minutes including attaching the wand and filling the basin with clean water.  The vacuum uses the water to clean, along with a HEPA filter.

I was recently diagnosed with asthma and was excited to see that this vacuum is highly recommended for allergies and asthma.  Now that I’ve used it, I totally see why!

I plugged in the machine and went to town.  I was loving the clean fresh scent coming from the vacuum and the clean lines left in the carpets as I finished each room.  It was so easy to use this machine and before I knew it, had cleaned every carpeted room in the house and all the stairs.  I was left with super clean floors and I was thrilled!

Now what I am about to show you  is completely embarrassing to me, as I told you before, I keep my house clean.  I vacuum all the time.  Well……here is what the water looked like when I was finished.

Now I am just horrified at all that has been lurking in my carpets, undected by my eyes.  Oh, it’s so gross!!  But, it did a thorough job, a much better one than my other machine had been doing, even though I had been deceived to think I had really clean floors.

So I share this mortifying information with you to let you know that you, too, probably have hidden dirt, allergens, dust, and pet hair lurking in you carpet.  But, it’s ok!  There is a way to rid you home of the nastiness.  You can pick up your own Sirena vacuum to achieve super clean floors and banish the dirt from your carpets forever.
