While visiting colleges over spring break, we decided to make a stop at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. It is a gorgeous campus and the surrounding town around it is one of my very favorites on the East Coast. There is so much to do from actually visiting the Naval Academy, taking a cruise on a Watermark boat, or even stopping in for an hour of riddles as you escape Mission Escape Rooms. We did all of those things, dined and shopped and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
We were invited* to make Springhill Suites Annapolis our home base for the visit. When you are traveling as a family with a lot of kids, it can be a challenge to book a hotel room that accommodates your needs. Enough beds for six people, central location, and space can quickly prove to be a difficult formula to meet. Springhill Suites had just what we were looking for in accommodations, plus offered complimentary wi-fi, breakfast and parking, which are also really important things we look for. On top of that, we found an indoor pool and jacuzzi next to a full exercise room. The hotel was very clean and welcoming!
Upon check-in, we found a very friendly staff and an open reception area where we would have breakfast the next morning.
Our room consisted of a living area (with a sofa bed sleeper), kitchen area, a bathroom and separate bedroom area with two queen sized beds perfect for our needs.
Our stay was a very comfortable one, allowing us easy access to the town we love, activities, restaurants and more. After a full day of exploring and fun, we were thrilled to have our room at SpringHill Suites to come back to. We enjoyed a some playing in the pool, exercising, and relaxing in the hot tub before turning in for the evening. Breakfast the next morning was a great way to start the day before embarking on other new adventures.
SpringHill Suites by Marriott Annapolis was a very family-friendly hotel, definitely with the needs of families in mind, and we enjoyed our stay here. I would definitely recommend staying here with your own family when visiting Annapolis! To learn more about the hotel, visit their website and book your very own stay.
