This past week, we flew down to Orlando to check out the latest holiday happenings at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We are huge fans of Universal Orlando Resorts parks, especially the areas of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios.
London, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade were all bedecked with shimmering lights and Christmas garland. It was really beautiful. Hot butter beer is a must have this time of year (even in 85 degree weather), as is a delicious waffle cone from Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour ( I love the orange marmalade!).
Go shopping in all the quaint and magical shops, enjoy some holiday entertainment, take a scenic trip via the Hogwarts Express, experience some thrilling rides at Hogwarts and Gringott’s, cast some spells with your interactive wands though out all the areas and you are guaranteed to have an incredible time.
And to close out the day of memorable adventures, once the sun goes down, take in a brand new holiday light display on Hogwarts itself, along with some fire works.
A fantastic way to spend a day (or three!) on a family vacation. Everything in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is so much fun, exciting, and well done. It is everything you would imagine from the books and the movies, come to life. I highly recommend taking a special trip yourself to this spellbinding land!
Looks amazingly amazing. Always wanted to go to Hogwarts but not made it so far. Great post and brilliant photos.
