This past weekend, we took a trip to Philly to check out the Philadelphia Auto Show at the Philadelphia Convention Center. We were invited* to come see the wide range of cars and exhibitors that are here from January 26th to February 4th. Car shows are always a lot of fun to go to so you can see the latest and greatest automobiles there are on the market. But I will admit, I know very little about cars. No matter, because you don’t have to know a lot about cars to enjoy yourself at the show.
We did happen to be looking for some information on 2018 cars and going to the car show was a great place to see the cars we were looking for all under one roof. We were able to see all the models from numerous companies and compare and contrast. For someone who doesn’t have a ton of free time to run around from dealership to dealership, this is very helpful!
In between checking out the cars we were interested in, we were treated to a lot of special exhibits. There was a Hollywood section where we got to see some fun blasts from the past. Recognize these vehicles?
The 80s child inside me flipped out! The Mystery Machine, the A-Team van, and Kit from Knight Rider all in person to see. It was fun to show my kids special memories from my childhood.
Moving on, we saw some really cool collectors cars, all of which were very unique and special to see. However, this one stood out to me especially, as I was a huge Back to the Future fan. Have you ever seen a gold DeLorean? Incredible!
I loved seeing the exotic collection of cars. They are really gorgeous!
There was something for every one at the show. Hands on exhibits (Camp Jeep hosted an off-road adventure course for those who wanted to get up close and personal with the capabilities of their 4 wheel drives), giveaways, and vendors could be found all throughout the convention center. It was a great way to spend an evening with the family.
You can find out more about the PhillyAutoShow online and plan a visit for yourself. You’ll love all it has to offer!
*I was invited to visit the show to facilitate a feature, all opinions are my own.
