I love the 1980s, I love great music and I love Broadway. I was thrilled to see that this fun show is back in the Big Apple, celebrating it’s 10th Anniversary!  I was able to see it a few years back and can’t wait to see it again while on Broadway. The theatre is set up like a club, the atmosphere is extremely casual and you are instantly transported back into the mid to late 1980s.  I couldn’t wait for the show to begin.  Once it did, it was awesome (should I say,  like,  totally awesome?!).

The energy was high, singing was incredible, the band was fantastic.  I loved how all the popular songs we know and loved in the 1980s were integrated into a really great storyline of a city boy and small town girl meeting on their journey to find their dreams.  This show has you smiling and laughing all throughout. The audience is moved to sing right along with those on stage.  Takes you back to your youth and entertains beyond belief.  You will not leave this theatre disappointed!  The energy in the theatre the night we went was off the charts, which really adds to the fun atmosphere.

So, if you are looking for a great time, go see Rock of Ages!  Leave the kiddos at home (not really appropriate for them!) and enjoy a night out and enjoy the nostalgia –you will be so glad you did!  To purchase your own tickets visit their site . Rock on!
