I love celebrating holidays. Any excuse to do something out of the ordinary and create memories with my kids is something I am all about. I’ve got some Irish heritage and my puppy is from Ireland, so you know that when it comes to St. Patrick’s Day, we’ve got to make the most of the day. I’ve found some really fun things I want to share with you to create your own fun celebrations with your own families. Check them out!

First of all, we’ve got to look the part. You know that getting through March 17th without wearing your green doesn’t end well. No one wants to get pinched all day long! Now is the perfect time to do some shopping for the holiday as there are some great sales happening here. I love the sparkle of the green glitter shamrock tee to show off my heritage and to get the party started. These tees wash up so well and look just as great as the day it arrived. I’ll be able to wear it over and over throughout the years or pick up several different styles (which, I will admit, is most likely what will happen).

For little ones, I can’t get over the absolute adorableness of these toddler tees from PorchSwingApparel on Etsy. Seeing these makes me want to wear St. Patrick’s gear year round. These shirts are soooo cute and soft! There is nothing cuter than seeing little toddlers in these bright and fun tees. They aren’t just limited to St. Patrick’s Day tees, though, you can pick up literally hundreds of different styles, be it birthday celebration shirts, bridal, any holiday imaginable, and so much more. I mentioned my dog is from Ireland. That is true, she has been there, but I haven’t yet. It’s definitely on my bucket list. But, I can’t leave my Jack Russell out of the holiday fun when she truly is Irish! We’ve got to dress her up for the occasion, too! I love this green plaid collar from etsy shop Britches4Stitches. My dog loves this collar! It looks really great on her and it’s soft material is comfortable on her neck. It’s very secure and very well made. I highly recommend purchasing your dog collars from this great shop, the owner, Kara, was wonderful to work with to create a custom fit for my pup. I will definitely be back to pick up some other collars for the different seasons!

To add to my sweet dog’s apparel, I love these amazing dog tags from PetParadeBoutique. I had one made with my dog’s name and contact info on it, in case she were ever to get lost. These tags are so cute, I want to get so many different ones. Dogs need accessories, too, right? I love this shamrock tag that compliments her plaid collar. I also love the Harry Potter themed one I had made, which I will show you later this month–it’s adorable! These tags are wonderful and come in a variety of sizes and shapes. I absolutely adore this handmade St. Patrick’s Day banner from Etsy shop MilliesThreads. Hand cut and sewn together, this is the perfect way to dress up the house for March! I love the quality of this banner that can be used over and over again. I love the gingham ribbons on the ends, too.
