Even though it is just November, I am seeing lights begin to adorn the rooftops of neighboring homes, trees being lit in local parks, stores starting to bustle with their aisles filled with Christmas decor. It’s getting me really excited to celebrate the season! I think with a year like we’ve all been dealing with, we especially need a reason to look for light, love and happy times spent together with our loved ones.

Being relatively new to Utah, I’m on the lookout for great ways to spend time with my family, especially anything Christmas related. I am really excited to see and to share with you that Christmas in Color is opening November 19th for their holiday season in South Jordan, Utah!

What is Christmas in Color, you ask? Christmas in Color creates a vibrant, upbeat holiday experience where guests are immersed in music, lights and holiday cheer. Christmas in Color started in 2006 with one animated residential display and has evolved into 9 drive-thru animated light shows throughout North America. The experience brings joy and happiness to families and friends through visual light and music displays each holiday season. This year Christmas in Color will be in nine locations across North America: South Jordan, UT, Federal Heights, CO, Morrison, CO, Garden City, ID, San Dimas, CA, Shakopee, MN, Federal Way, WA, Kissimmee, FL, and Allentown, PA.

Christmas in Color takes traditional Christmas light viewing to a whole new level. Guests are immersed in LED tunnels and surrounded by dancing lights sharply synchronized to music as they wind through enchanting light displays fully animated and in sync to our favorite holiday music. Features include whimsical holiday and winter elements like Christmas trees, candy canes, and snowmen, as well as immersive light tunnels, RGB pixel light fields, and leaping arches.

This is the perfect family friendly activity, as you get to ride in your car, take in the sites, listen to audio through your own car radio that is specifically synced to your experience. The whole experience lasts about 30-40 minutes and can be enhanced with special VIP packages. A portion of each show’s proceeds also benefit Make-A-Wish, so you are doing a good thing at the same time.
