The Christmas season has officially begun. It’s easy to get caught up in all the action and commotion that the holidays bring. Shopping, decorating, baking….all great things, but before we all get too caught up in that, it’s important to remember why it is we make such a big deal about this season and maybe redirect our focus as to the real reason we celebrate.
This December, I am really excited to do just that. One of the activities I am really looking forward to doing with my family is visiting A Babe Is Born, a live nativity in Lehi, Utah.

They have created a live nativity experience that exudes the majesty of the nativity story while also giving back. They have lofty goals to bless as many lives as possible while still giving your family the opportunity to feel the spirit of what Christmas is really about, the birth of our savior and king, Jesus Christ. For every ticket purchased they will be donating a meal to a local refugee as well as hiring local refugees as part of our cast so that they have opportunities to work & to help bless their families during this special time of year. They hope you get to feel the spirit of Christmas while meeting some of your newest neighbors from all over the world.
“We are excited to bring back the Live Nativity this December to allow you and your family to experience life in the small town of Bethlehem while also raising money for refugee families! Last year you helped us raise over $45,000 for them and this year our goal is $75,000! It’s a big goal but we know that with your help we can create our own Christmas miracle! Thank you for your support in the years past and we hope we can count on you again this year.“
This live nativity is sure to help us remember why we celebrate the season with a re-enactment of the birth of Christ in Bethlehem. I have heard wonderful things about it in the past and can’t wait to get to experience it for myself. In addition to being a fantastic opportunity to take your family to, it’s also a great service project where we can help raise funds for refugee families. That’s a win-win! Tickets go quickly to this event that begins Wednesday, December 14th and runs multiple time slots throughout December 20, 2022. You can buy individual tickets or a family pass, but as this is a timed event, you will want to select your tickets as soon as you can. You can select your time here.
