While we may think of October as the best time to go to our favorite haunted houses, Fear Factory would like to remind you that you are Halfway to Halloween! With the cold winter and spring we’ve had, it seems absolutely terrifying that we are halfway there, but any excuse I have to go and frolic through the concrete and iron labyrinth of the remains of a factory, you’d better believe I am super excited to do so!

This very limited opening is happening this weekend only, so grab your tickets for either May 19th or 20th and don’t miss your chance to go. We were there tonight and, let me tell you, it was an absolute blast! I love Halloween so much, and always plan my late September and October around my favorite haunts, but I’ve never thought to do it at another time of year. I’m thrilled that Fear Factory has thought about it. I had no idea that Fear Factory has been opening up for this halfway mark for the last eight years! I’ve been missing out! I know now to allot some time in my May calendar to celebrate with Fear Factory for now on. In fact, I think a new tradition has begun!

Even though what I’ve been thinking about is summer, I’m so glad to have taken a night to go and experience one of my favorite Halloween destinations off-season. It was a great night out with family and each and every one of us had such a fun time. I would dare say that tonight’s experience was even more intense than it’s been. We got to go through the belly of the factory in black out, which added to the fun factor. There were some unexpected elements and we each had plenty of scares. Always an absolutely amazing time, it did not disappoint!

So before the weekend gets away from you, make sure you get your tickets and head over tomorrow night and bring your friends and family with you. Make sure to make some time for some pre-scare entertainment, there is an incredible magician on the premises that had us all completely flabbergasted at his talents. You will be impressed!

The Fear Factory, Salt Lake City’s only truly haunted attraction was recently named the #9 truly terrifying haunted attraction on BuzzFeed’s 2022 list of the 20 most terrifying haunts.
