On our visit to Niagara Falls, we needed a top notch place to lay our heads at night. We were thrilled to be invited to stay at Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls.* We felt welcomed instantly!
We arrived late at night and found our room ready and waiting for us, after a very friendly encounter with the staff at the front desk. The hotel is very clean and spacious. We found ourselves staying in the family suite, which allowed for plenty of room for six people, with two queen beds and a pull out sofa.
As you walked into the suite, you walked into a living room area with a TV, dresser, sofa, table and large picture window. A door separates this area from the bedroom portion of the room, where you will find a bathroom that consists of a toilet and shower combination–the shower is very comfortable with a great shower head–and then an area with sink and vanity. A large closet that houses a safe (perfect for passports) is directly across from the vanity.
You can then walk into the very large bedroom where there are the two beds, tons of space, dresser, TV, refrigerator, and an even larger picture window that over looks just about everything you would want to see in Niagara Falls. At the time of day we arrived, we could see the Niagara Sky Wheel lit up.
Upon arrival to the hotel, we were informed that we were 15 minutes away from the fireworks display and that the falls were a 15 minute walk from the hotel. We decided to venture out to see the fireworks and falls, but the view from our bedroom would have been ideal to see it all.
We could not have asked for a better location in a hotel. Walking out through the lobby, there is a very large parking lot where you can keep your car. It’s not necessary when staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in Niagara Falls to even use your car to go places. We were able to park the car and walk the town, which is something we love to do. Right outside the hotel were tons of restaurant options and so much entertainment. You are literally footsteps away from Clifton Hill, where you can find everything under the sun to entertain your family. Follow that road down the street and you have arrived at the Falls. I don’t think it even took 10 minutes to walk there.
After a night of exploring, it was time to hit the hay and we were thrilled to do so on our super comfortable beds. When we arrived, we were greeted by very cute animal creations-a sea turtle and elephant. It was a fun touch we enjoyed!
We slept like babies and awoke refreshed and ready to start a new day. Everyone knows the best way to start the day is with a delicious breakfast. Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls has you covered, as their in house restaurant, The Keg, serves breakfast every morning, if you are so inclined. It was a great buffett: eggs, potatoes (seriously the best potatoes ever!), pastries, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, waffles, french toast and made to order omelettes.
Each morning of our stay, we enjoyed a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast made from a very friendly chef.
We had an amazing stay at Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls. This will be my go-to choice for future visits, as it was such a wonderful experience in every aspect. They have so many amenities, free wi-fi, delicious breakfast onsite, indoor and outdoor pools, and even a laundry area. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in every way they could be and made our stay that much more special. I highly recommend staying here for your next trip to Niagara Falls.
